Wendy the owner is an awwwsome hair stylist she is very patient with her Costumers and her crew is also the sweetest women to work with wendy an her crew have and always been super great even if you walk in thank you Wendy and the crew they take care of you as if your family. Hands down Wendy/NY Dominican stylist is AMAZING. My niece HIGHLY recommended her as I was looking for someone new. I am ALWAYS skeptical about who cuts or treats my hair due to years of disappointments. Wendy is professional and has the utmost respect for her patrons. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. She was able to fit my son and I in on the same day. Mind you 2 very different textures of hair. The moisturizing treatment she did for my son brought LIFE and shine back to his curls. All I can say is "WOW" amazing with just 1 treatment. He's sold! My hair is long and has really thinned out over the years but here's the kicker... I've been letting it grow out with my natural grays for over 2 years now. What I ABSOLUTELY LOVED was that not once did she to try sway me to dye or cut my hair shorter. She treated my hair with gentle hands and listened to what I was working towards. She ensured to treat my once very curly hair to now straight thin hair with care. My biggest fan "my husband" absolutely loved the results. I haven't felt this good about going to a hairstylist in years. Thank you so much Wendy and we'll see you again soon!
Excellence customer service, the owner (Wendy) was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional…the hair stylist was quiet, spoke very softly but boy was she great at her work! There was no-doubt she was an experienced stylist…The salon was very clean, organized and comfortable…if you are looking for a hair salon that you walk into and feel like family, this is that place!
MAR 2023: WENDY HAS DONE IT AGAIN! I thought I’d never go back to a stylist, but I knew Wendy would be there if I did. And she performed a miracle again. I’ll post the before and after of my hair cut (please note these are second day curls) She washed/conditioned trimmed and gave me a new cut/style. I styled it with products at home (my preference) and I swear I’ve been wanting this cut forever- this is the happiest I’ve been and the most pleased with a style in YEARS. ALL HAIL QUEEN WENDY! Late 2022: WENDY SAVED THE DAY!!! I came to Wendy yesterday completely dejected, and after having a horrible experience w faux locs i was done with stylists forever. Although I don’t think I’ll be going to another stylist, I will absolutely return to Wendy for my last maintenance trim coming up. My hair was matted and completely destroyed, Wendy and her associate spent two hours combing and cutting through the mess. I cried so hard, but it wasn’t the loss of the hair that bothered me… I’ve had so many bad experiences with stylists in the past that im starting to think it’s intentional. Although Wendy restored my faith, I only have faith in her now… and even though I have to chop all my hair off now, Wendy was kind enough to suggest a layering style that she was prepared to provide… Because my hair is so damaged, I’ll be getting a Halle Berry cut for the first time in my life. TRUST WENDY YALL!!! She and her team were so kind, it really made me cry tears of joy just to have someone finally care… Thanks Wendy 💕
Wendy is absolutely, hands down, the Best!! She has taken me from an everyday hair routine to rich beautiful hair color, minus the shock factor that occurs with other hair salons. She listens and advises on what color or style works best with face and skin tone. Her experience in the industry and as a stylist cannot be matched. I am a life-long customer for sure!
